Music classes for under fives - sing song play along
An exciting new venture exploring music with children under five and their parents in new fun classes called 'Sing Song Play Along' is starting in Autumn 2019. There'll be lots of songs and rhythms and lots of instruments to get to know - percussion, keyboards and ukuleles.
The sessions will take place at The Splash Academy, Crown Street, Bolton BL1 2RU (just behind Argos), which is a fabulous venue, a new family hub designed with children in mind. Check out The Splash Academy Bolton for more information on the venue.
There are so many reasons to get your child involved in music as early as possible...
• Music helps the brain develop the areas that are used in:
• language and reasoning
• cognitive skills
• listening and concentration
• Movement, rhythm and timing, aiding fine and gross motor development
• Parent-child bonding through rocking, swaying, singing and dancing
Music's form and structure can bring order and security
Plus it's fun, sociable and will help develop a love of music that will last a lifetime!
See below for details of Taster sessions coming up in October. Due to limited numbers, please get in touch to register your interest if you are planning to attend one of the sessions.
“Kevin is an excellent teacher; he’s a patient and very skilled musician who really listens to what you want to achieve and plans lessons to help you realise your goals. His lessons are always fun and challenging and I come away buzzing with what he’s enabled me to play. Can’t wait for the next one!”
